Stayed here before catching the ferry back to the mainland. The hotel is good, our room was clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful, especially as our room wasn't ready when we arrived We decided to eat in the hotel and were pleased we had. A very good three course carvery style buffet with exceptional dessert choice Not much of a bar area, but it's a short walk into the town centre where there are quite a few bars, picking a decent one is a challenge but one worth taking on. Definitely would stay here again if in stornaway.
Absolutely great place to start our Hebredian adventure. Warm welcome from reception, with good recommendations for tourist attractions. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was lovely. Buffet style with loads of choice. Lovely waitress and waiter.
Definitely not a big chain hotel and thankfully full of charm and comfort. As much as possible I'm coming back.

Easy location to find after coming of the ferry. Rooms were clean with comfortable mattress. Was a layer of dust on the tv but overall, it was very good. Bathroom immaculate with great power on the shower. Food was outstanding, we had dinner and breakfast there, and breakfast was one of the best. Staff helpful and friendly.
Really pleased with our stay, the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, basic but lovely. Love the Harris tweed curtains and chairs! The Elevens restaurant next door was delicious and the hotel accommodates dogs for £15 per night which was perfect for us!
Fantastic food, buffet was out of this world, plenty of choice and topped up very quickly
Food is excellent. I don't usually do carvery meals but decided to try it here and it was first class, Probably the best one I have had on my travels across the UK
